As the sun rises over Kapa Beach, we say Aloha to Kauai
Security was tight despite the carnival atmosphere as New Orleans welcomed
the Signatute Systems team & the Comet Dealer Conference for 2012.

Months of planning had gone into the flotilla that graced the mighty Missippi to welcome the delegates. Small groups assembled along the banks to watch the tall ships pass.

Once the fleet hits town, watchout. The ladies are out and about and they are hot and New Orleans in no exception.

. . .
Our quaint little hotel, just off the French Quarter.
Meanwhile, all was peace and calm back at the hotel,
the armed gaurds and mounted policemen melted into the background
Inside, the delegates relaxed and re-acquainted themselves in an atmosphere of old-worldly charm

Time for a drink & a bite to eat - Bourbon Street is calling.

The next morning it was down to business, all went well till we hit STL containers.
Then we were given a display of Signature Team work.
And I am sure you will agree that the discussion was very fruitful.
.
.
Then the moment we had all been waiting for .. Justin front & center. The Comet Anywhere Ipad App.
Having given us food for thought it was now time for food, Bourbon Street here we come again. We wended our way past a few locals heading for a quaint little cafe we had heard about.
This restaraunt had a fishpond with Alligator and Turtles, pick the one you want and the chef would prepare it however you wished. The bars here are serious about there cocktails, none of this nancy-boy shaker stuff, they are pre-mixed in a Makka's style drink machine, and are served in milk shake containers.
We met an enterprising young girl in Huck Finns, Randi, and she gave us a tour of the town. Before we knew it, the demon drink had taken hold of Al and he was besotted. We tried to make him see sense, but he would have none of it. The next thing we know he is down on one knee begging her to come back to the hotel with him.
We never did see him again that day, Carl Haaser, Marc Shevik and myself too over the top floor of the Hard Rock Cafe
and settled in to
await the welcome that New Orleans had promised us for that evening.
