Security was tight despite the carnival atmosphere as New Orleans welcomed the Signatute Systems team & the Comet Dealer Conference for 2012.

Months of planning had gone into the flotilla that graced the mighty Missippi to welcome the delegates.
Small groups assembled along the banks to watch the tall ships pass.

Once the fleet hits town, watchout. The ladies are out and about and they are hot and New Orleans in no exception.
Delegates were able to wander freely amongst the crowd knowing that the security detail was not far away.
Security blended in with the crowd.
Gob-smacked local when he realised who was visiting his city.

Our quaint little hotel, just off the French Quarter.
Meanwhile, all was peace and calm back at the hotel, the armed gaurds and mounted policemen melted into the background
Inside, the delegates relaxed and re-acquainted themselves in an atmosphere of old-worldly charm
Outside the partying continued , a procession around the corner on Canal st. attracted the attention of a familiar looking white-haired pony tail, Brian & Valerie hurry to catch up with the floats.
The major purpose of these floats appear to be to throw strings of beads to the general public, who, in turn, throw them at girls on balconies to encourage them to flash.
Time for a drink & a bite to eat - Bourbon Street is calling.
Table for 14 is not what they want to hear down there, but after a couple of false starts we found one that could take us all,.
