Uninstalling Comet Security System

Uninstalling the Comet Security System

The Comet security system may be un-installed at any time. To do so, follow these steps:

1. Erase the system password file using the Comet erase utility.

2. Erase the QSTART2 file using the Comet erase utility.

This file should be located in the COS directory.

On older systems or systems which do not have a COS directory it may be found in REL instead.
